Paving Bids

City of Westmoreland, Tennessee (Owner)

Separate sealed Bids for the 2021 Paving Improvements will be received
by the City of Westmoreland at the City Hall, located at 1001 Park Street,
Westmoreland, TN 37186 until 2:00 P.M. local time, on Friday, October 15,
2021 and then at said time and place publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of work generally consists of paving the following streets:
Mill Street, Carter Street, Green Street, Dean Street, Stevens Street, Ray
Street, East Borders Street, West Borders Street, Robin’s Trail, Cardinal Circle,
Hummingbird Hill Court, and Wagoner’s Way.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifi
cations, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other
contract documents may be examined at the following:
Hethcoat & Davis, Inc., 278 Franklin Road, Suite 200 Brentwood, TN 37027
A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required for the Contract Documents.
Contract Documents (plans and specifi cations) will only be released
electronically in PDF format on CD. No hard copies will be provided. Bidder
will be responsible for printing the documents specifi cally required for Bid
submittal, as well as printing of the plans and specifi cations as needed for
Bidder’s use.

Failure to pay the plan deposit and obtaining Contract Documents from
locations other than Hethcoat & Davis, Inc. will result in Bidder not being
considered and Bid will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to
waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids.
Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and
subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
All Bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the
Contractor’s Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of
Tennessee, and qualifi ed for the type of construction being bid upon.
No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual date of
the opening thereof.
